The marble pieces are smooth and polished, and they have a nice weight to them. However, the packaging could have been better to ensure all pieces arrived in perfect condition. One of the checkers had a small chip, but it wasn’t a big deal. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the quality!

This checkers set is beautifully crafted from marble and is great quality! The board itself is a bit heavy so you do have to be careful with it, but it has a foam layer on the bottom to avoid slipping on the table. The set comes with extra checkers and extra foam stickers to attach to the bottom of each checker. I do wish it came with a storage bag for the checkers, but it did not so I had to use a bag I already had. It was a bit pricey, but we really enjoy playing and use it multiple times a week, so it was worth the investment for us. With careful handling, this set will last forever!
