I received this chess set as a Christmas gift, and I absolutely love it! The oceanic marble is a little darker than expected, but I actually like it better this way. I understand it’s a natural material and every set is unique. The craftsmanship of the hand-carved pieces is exceptional for the price. This chess set is the highlight of the night anytime friends come over now!

I got this for my son for Christmas.He has wanted a marble chess set for many years. He was Thrilled and Loved it!!!!The set is Exquisite, the pieces are so beautifully crafted. He plans on keeping it out on display it looks that nice. I recommend this set for any chess enthusiasts. It is marble so it is heavy. It is so worth the money spent!

This marble chess set is stunning and makes a fantastic gift. My only issue was the outer packaging it arrived slightly damaged, though the set inside was fine. Still a great experience overall.

Received this beautiful chess set, securely packaged, and in perfect condition. The board and chess pieces are very pretty to look at and "meaty".My only suggestion is to get your own felt or foam for the bottom of the pieces, because the foam they send with the set are all crooked which makes the pieces wobble. So I ordered some felt elsewhere.I certainly wouldn't let that dissuade you from buying this chess set - not a big deal to replace the felt/foam.

Beautiful chess set with great craftsmanship. Unfortunately, one piece arrived chipped, likely during delivery. The company resolved it quickly and professionally. Overall, very happy just not a perfect experience.

We love it. The only negative criticism is that the adhesive felt applications are uneven, which cause some of the chess pieces to wobble. This is a repeat complaint from previous customers, but apparently the issue still has not been resolved. The quality of the product should not be marred by such a small detail. You should seek out a new source. You and your customers deserve better. Thank you.

I love playing chess, and I’ve been playing on a $10 set, never bothered investing in a nice one. I wanted one to decorate my desk set up, and this chess set did not disappoint! It is a perfect addition to my desk set up. Pieces and board are gorgeous. Literally the perfect gift if you know a chess lover!

I'm deligthed with this chess set, you can feel the high quality of the materials. The marble gives the pieces a very beutiful desing. The size is perfect, very confortable to play with, And you can left it out as decoration.Arrived in perfect conditions and on time. Very well packed.Meet all my expectation, highly recommended.

This chess set is high quality and as beautiful as the pictures show. The pieces are heavy and satisfying to move. The packaging was great and my set arrived in perfect condition. My only complaint is that the foam stickers that come with the set for you to stick on the bottom of the pieces do not match the quality of the board and pieces. They look cheap and are also slightly larger that the bottom of the piece which makes them stand out more. A pre-attached piece of felt on the bottom would have been nicer. However, given the price and the high quality of this set I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend this set to anyone looking for a beautiful marble set.

I got this set for my husband for his birthday, and he is obsessed! He is an avid chess player and has always wanted a really nice chess set, and I loved the idea of having a beautiful set as functional decor. I searched for the perfect set for a long time across many different selling platforms, and this set satisfied every requirement! Every single piece looks really nice (a lot of handcrafted sets have weird looking knights or strange bishops or something else just not quite right about them). It is stunning marble and perfectly weighted. It came with plenty of foam to attach to the bottom of the pieces so the board doesn't get scratched. It's the perfect size. All around, just a really fantastic set. My husband is over the moon about finally having his dream set on display, I can play with him more frequently to better learn the game, and I often find him just arranging the pieces practicing different openings and defenses by himself. It really is an amazing gift for any chess lover!

This is a wonderful chess set. The board is a great size for playing and the pieces are beautiful. Every one of them is unique. I like the weight of the pieces. This could be a great gift or something for yourself.

Just buy it already. Looks and feel like a $400 piece. It takes playing the game to a new level, like drinking scotch in crystal and if you don’t play chess, it’s a gorgeous piece of work of art that will definitely impress.

What a gorgeous set this is. This set is extremely well made and sturdy. It came with little felt stickers to put on the bottom of the pieces. Came with a storage box, though I probably won't be using that - after all, this set is part fun, and part decoration.One piece wobbled so I contacted the shop and they gave me a choice of either a replacement piece, or a small refund. They were very helpful and responded quickly (within about 24 hours).I would definitely buy from this company again, and I would definitely buy this chess set again if I ever need another one.

The chess set? AMAZING! The provided pads that stick onto the bottom of the chess pieces? ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. They're dark and thick which ruins the aesthetic. Not to mention that they're usually a bit too large for the pieces so some parts of the sticky side are exposed. I've had some of the pieces get stuck together while playing because of this. I would've just left them off but I was worried that something might break considering how heavy-handed I am when moving the pieces quickly.I ended up buying some adhesive-backed velvet sheets and a circle cutter and cutting out my own bottoms to stick on. Now it truly feels like a quality chess set.

My son and I love this. Pieces are sturdy. The carrying case is beautiful and heavy duty There is NO WAY anything will be damaged during travel! VERY HEAVY board with felt on the bottom. Felt came pre cut for the bottom of the pieces. Took a lot of pictures so that you can see the marble detail in the light. I did not adjust the coloring or use filters so you know what your buying! Well worth the purchase! This is not a promotion review, I just wanted people to see the high quality at at a resonable price! (Got this for my son and he just taught me how to play. I apologize for not knowing the correct chess terms)
