This is a beautiful set and it works straight out of the box with my DGT Centaur Computer chess board without having to tape metal disc on the bottom; no idea why but they work as is. Anyways this marble chess set is perfect for a 12 or 15 inch board. Really Happy with my purchase.

I had a custom board made for my son's birthday and needed marble chess pieces that would work with the size of the board. The board is an 18x18 and the pieces are perfect. They are heavy duty and beautiful. They look great with his new board.
I purchased this set with high expectations and I am not disappointed!! These are quality pieces at a very reasonable cost. I have a 16” board and these are perfect for what I need. If you have a larger than 16” board, these will work perfectly for you as well. I’ll include pics of what the pieces look like on my board, I’m still very impressed by how great these pieces look in person. The dimensions of the set I received are listed bellow… for those that have an interest in the exact size.
Width of base (All Pieces) = Just under 1 1/4”
Height of Pawn (With Padding on the Bottom) = 2 3/8”
Height of Rook (With Padding on the Bottom) = 2 5/8”
Height of Knight (With Padding on the Bottom) = 2 7/8”
Height of Bishop (With Padding on the Bottom) = 2 15/16”
Height of Queen (With Padding on the Bottom) = 3 5/16”

These are mostly smooth and very pretty. Nicely weighted and so large I’m now trying to get a larger board though unfortunately, this company seems to have a high demand for the boards and have been sold out. It’s even more fun to play with these gorgeous pieces!
