exactly what i was looking for. very nice marble pieces that look great with both the sculpting/shapes and the colors. they have a good weight and solid feel to them. they fit perfectly on a 13” board with approx 1.5” squares. the king (with styrofoam bottom) is approx same height as a full size bic lighter and diameter of bottom of all pieces (with bottom) is exactly 1”.

My cousin plays chess almost every day, so I wouldn't give him a set that was only meant to look pretty on a shelf. I like these figures because they have the standard shapes and a size intended for larger boards. The green color makes them feel special, but they still look practical for an ordinary game. Since he has a favorite board already, giving him just the pieces would make much more sense.

The white and green figures look beautiful together, and I really like the traditional styling. My only small consideration would be that natural stone never has perfectly identical markings from one piece to the next. One green figure might have slightly more veining than another, which is worth expecting when choosing onyx. That wouldn't spoil the set for me, though. The variation is part of what makes the material interesting, and the overall colors are lovely.

I like the way the green onyx contrasts with the lighter figures, and the classic shapes make the set appealing for regular games. One minor point is that the felt bottoms come in a separate packet, so there's a little work involved before setting everything on a favorite board. I understand why they're included, and I would rather have that protection available. Once prepared, the pieces should make a very attractive addition to a larger chessboard.

I've been thinking about changing my chess pieces for months, but most sets online include a board I don't need. Being able to get all 32 figures separately is exactly what appeals to me here. I like the color contrast and the traditional design, especially the clean lines of the rooks. The natural stone finish gives them a little personality. It's a nice way to refresh a chess setup while keeping the pieces and board choices flexible.

Our den has a large chessboard that we leave out for family games, and I've wanted to replace the basic pieces for a while. These would give the table a completely different look. I like how the green stone works with wood furniture and how the white side keeps the contrast clear. The figures are attractive without being distracting. It's the kind of upgrade that lets us keep the board we already enjoy.

One thing I enjoy about marble and onyx is that every little marking gives the material some personality. This color combination really shows that off. The green figures have a richer look than a plain painted surface, and the white pieces provide a nice contrast. I also appreciate the familiar shape of the rooks, knights and kings. If I were choosing pieces for a larger home chessboard, this style would be high on my list.

Sometimes chess sets have large decorative kings and very tiny pawns, and I don't love that balance. I like the proportions shown here because the figures seem to belong together. The taller pieces stand out, while the pawns still have enough presence on the board. The natural onyx finish is beautiful, particularly on the green side. It's a thoughtful design for someone who cares about the appearance of each figure, not just the overall color.

One detail I appreciate is that felt bottoms are provided for the figures. I would want to protect the surface of my chessboard when using pieces made of stone, so that's a practical addition. The white and green combination looks beautiful, especially with the natural patterns in the marble. The traditional shapes are easy to recognize, too. It's nice to see a collection that considers both how the figures look and how they will be used.

My wife and I met through a chess club, so chess-related gifts always mean something to us. I like the idea of giving her a new set of figures to use with the board we've had for years. The green onyx brings a color we don't already have, and the white pieces look elegant beside it. The figures are traditional rather than overly decorative. It feels like a personal gift we could enjoy together for a long time.

My friend collects different chess figures and enjoys mixing them with boards he already owns. This white and green set would make a distinctive addition to that collection. It has the classic chess shapes he prefers, but the marble coloring is much more unusual than another plain wooden set. I like how the stone markings keep the figures from looking mass-produced. It's a good gift idea for somebody who has plenty of boards but likes trying new styles.

We recently rearranged our living room and put a chessboard on a side table. The original pieces don't really work with the new look, so I've been searching for something different. These stone figures are a great style for that space. The green adds subtle color, and the white figures keep the set looking clean. I like that the shapes stay familiar, so the game still feels comfortable when friends come over to play.

I've played with wooden chessmen for most of my life, so natural onyx figures would be a very different experience. I like the white and green combination because it feels lighter than the usual dark-colored stone sets. The pieces have an attractive traditional appearance, and the taller king gives the group good proportions. It's nice that this product is only the chess figures, since I'm happy with the board I already own.

I always prefer chess figures that keep the standard shapes, because I don't want to stop and think about which piece is which during a game. These have the familiar silhouettes I look for. The white and green sides are easy to distinguish, and the stone patterns add a nice touch without making anything confusing. I particularly like the design of the bishops and queens. They seem like a good choice for someone who enjoys regular games.

My niece recently joined her college chess club, and I wanted a gift that felt connected to something she actually enjoys. She already has a board, so a separate set of marble pieces would be a fun surprise. The green and white colors are beautiful, and the traditional shapes would let her use them for real games. I also like that the figures seem substantial without having a complicated decorative theme. It's a thoughtful option for a chess enthusiast.

I can picture these figures arranged on a wooden chessboard next to a comfortable reading chair. The green adds warmth and interest, especially alongside bookshelves and darker furniture. I like that the pieces have a classic shape instead of something overly artistic or hard to recognize. Since I already have a playing board, it's nice to be able to choose the figures separately. They're the kind of small detail that can change a whole corner of a room.

I have a larger chessboard in the family room, and small figures always seem lost on it. The measurements listed for these pieces caught my attention because the king is 3.5 inches tall. I would still check the size of the squares on my own board, but the proportions look well suited to a larger setup. The white and green colors are another reason I like them. It's a lovely combination for a classic game.

My uncle enjoys chess more than anyone else in our family, but he already has a beautiful board that he wouldn't want to replace. A set of marble figures seems like a much more thoughtful gift. I especially like the green onyx color because it's different from the pieces he usually plays with. The traditional knights and rooks are also a nice touch. It's the sort of present that fits his hobby without giving him another board.

I've seen plenty of chess pieces in black, white and brown, but the green stone makes this collection much more interesting. The natural patterns give each figure a little character, and the lighter side complements them beautifully. I like that they don't have an unusual novelty design. They still look like chess pieces meant for a serious game. The green is distinctive without being so bright that it takes attention away from playing.

My husband and I have a standing chess game every Friday evening. Our board is in good condition, but the pieces we've used for years are starting to look a little tired. I like the idea of changing only the figures and keeping the board we're comfortable with. The natural marble looks beautiful, and the two colors are easy to tell apart. It would make our familiar routine feel a bit more special.

I've been using the same chessboard for quite a while, and I was ready for a change without replacing something that still works perfectly. These white and green stone figures have such a fresh look. The green side adds a little color, while the lighter pieces keep everything balanced. I like that the shapes are familiar and easy to identify. For somebody who already owns a board, a separate set of figures is a really appealing option.
